Harry G. Alcock is the Chief Investment officer at UDR and oversees the company’s acquisitions, dispositions, redevelopment and asset management.
Prior to UDR, Mr. Alcock was with AIMCO for over 16 years, serving most recently as Executive Vice President, co-Head of Transactions and Asset Management. When he joined AIMCO, the company owned 37 properties at $300M in total real estate value. Mr. Alcock was responsible for transaction activity and helped to grow the company into the largest multifamily owner and manager of over 2,000 properties in excess of $15B in total real estate value. He was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Investment officer in 1999, a position he held through 2007.
Mr. Alcock holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from San Jose State University.
