As Senior Development Manager Kristen will have responsibility for site selection, project conceptualization, permitting, market and financial analysis, design and construction. This responsibility includes bottom-line profit and loss along with bringing together teams and empowering them to work together to raise the bar on creating better spaces for people and enhancing communities.
Kristen brings 14 years of experience in real estate development and leadership. As a team leader she specializes in creating value for customers, communities, and investors through selection, vision, design, permitting, and implementation of places that enhance people’s way of life. Prior to Forum, Kristen was the Director of Development for Tarragon, based out of Seattle, where she was responsible for managing their multifamily and industrial departments, in the development of ground-up low-rise, mid-rise and high-rise apartments along with industrial distribution centers. Her knowledge of development is full spectrum overseeing the strategy for acquisition and vision through to construction completion and lease up. She started her career working on high-rise condominium and condominium conversion projects. Kristen has a Master of Science in Real Estate and a Master of Urban Planning degree from the University of Washington. She also has a BA in Economics and Political Science and is a long-standing member of both NAIOP and ULI.
