Theresa Shelton has more than 35 years of experience in operations, finance, tax and regulatory compliance and is founder and CEO of TMD Advisors, an independent consulting firm providing strategic advisory, accounting and income tax services to real estate and other private equity firms since 2016.
Prior to TMD, Ms. Shelton served as Chief Operating Officer (2007-2015) and Chief Financial Officer (1999-2015) at KRG Capital Partners, a private equity firm with over $3 billion of assets under management. Previously she was Vice President Finance at Rock Bottom Restaurants, Inc., a publicly-traded multi-state restaurant company; and, was with Arthur Andersen LLP for nine years, providing accounting and business advisory services to a variety of public and privately-held companies.
Ms. Shelton holds a B.S. in Accounting from Colorado State University and is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the Colorado Society of CPAs.
